To make a long story short, I was referred by a friend to take some photos of a plane crash that happened close to our house for inMaricopa.com. The plane actually crashed inside the Volkswagen testing grounds just outside of Maricopa. They wouldn't let me or the news crew that was there from Channel 12 inside the testing grounds. Given the circumstances, the picture of the car exiting the ground by the security hut was the best I could get. I had to take it "paparazzi style" since no cameras were allowed on the grounds. It ended up being a pretty fun outing and I felt a little like a news reporter!
